About the Blog

When I first discovered theology and biblical teaching, my heart was set aflame. It awakened joy in me as I learned more about God, and rightly so, since Psalm 16:11 says, "You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore." If there is joy in God's presence, then it makes sense that our joy would be increased as we learn more about him. I was set aflame with a passion to learn more about God and Scripture.

Sadly, however, I soon found out that there is often a chasm between theologians and many Christians. Theologians frequently write works that are technical and inaccessible for many Christians. They often write with an academic audience in mind (and many times this makes sense for academics to write to other academics). However, as a result, many Christians have written off theology as a dry, useless academic venture which is completely irrelevant to life. Admittedly, some theological books can come across this way. But nothing could be further from the truth. Theology is deeply connected to your everyday life. This blog is a resource for bringing theology to life and life to theology. This blog is an effort to fill that gap and make theology simple.

Grab a cup of coffee and let's explore the depths of Holy Scripture together!

In Christ,

Chad Lee
